​What I Think About Sometimes....​

As humans, we live in the present, yet we are influenced by our past and our subconscious mind.

Sexuality is one of the main forces that permeates the border between thought and reality, triggers occur, sensations areexperienced, heart flutterings, mental images (and more) popping up when least expected.

My work is about sex and relationships.  My colour palette is sometimes lurid,sometimes tranquil, somewhat like the colours and emotions of sex, convey the feeling of the act, challenging the viewer to gaze beyond the physicality of the representation.

This work explores the cognitive element of sexuality.  It is not grubby, it’s playful and fun. Here are consenting adults portrayed in sexy clinches.  I prefer to elicit a smile, or a wink and nudge, rather than a gasp in horror or disgust.

I am an artist primarily interested in the human figure – especially the relationship we have with our own sexuality.  I like to explore sex as a broad theme not only the imagery of sex but also the emotions, beliefs, physiology, psychology, etc, etc.
